My husband, Greg, and I both wish you speedy recovery! We’ll miss you while you are away, and if you end up doing rehab in Fresno, we’ll be there to see you!!!!
Go Giants!!!

Buster, I’m so sorry you had to go through so much pain. Get better soon, everyone in Cali misses you! I love YOU! ❤
Mr. Buster Posey:
Me and my wife wish you the best recovery. Do not come back until you are 100%. We would rather see you next year 100% than to possibly hurt yourself by coming back too soon.
Giants Fan since 1964 in Hayward

We’ll all be anticipating the sight of you on the field next year.(:
Buster!
If anyone can recover quickly from such a heartbreaking injury, you can!!! Don’t let it get you down! Just spend this time with your family and get ready for next season!
Lots of Love!
Your intelligent approach to your game and career will be helpful to you now! Do everything that the doctors, nurses, and physical therapists tell you to do! Please get well soon and come back to the team even stronger than before!
Buster-
We love you and hope you heal up soon! We can’t wait to see our favorite catcher back behind the plate!
Liz and family

We love you Buster Posey.
My entire family has been praying for you since your injury. I can only imagine how much it must hurt to be taken out of the game this early in the season. You’re such a great player and you always bring excitement to the game. Be sure to get well soon. Looking forward to seeing you back next season. I’ll keep praying. GO GIANTS!!!=)

Buster: Everyone misses number 28 on the field. We hope your recovery goes well and you aren’t in too much pain. Thank you for all you have done for the Giants. Hear’s to some great catching in 2012!
-The Jensen’s
Buster, get well soon! We will be following your progress and can’t wait to see you ready to go next spring. Your contributions will be missed by the Giant Nation. You are a large part of the nation and will never go unnoticed! May your time with family and friends help you in your journey back to the ball park! Waiting patiently – Your Fans
I’m glad your surgery went well and hope you have less pain soon. I also hope that there will be a change in base running training and team philosophy on plays at home plate that reduces this type of collision. One run, even one win is not worth a season ending injury for the catcher or the runner. You’re in our thoughts, we miss you!
Buster,
hope you get better soon! the Giants will not be the same without you. no one can replace you, the one and only BUSTER POSEY :))
Get well soon Buster! The Giants are not the same without you! Our prayers for a fast recovery.

Of course it’s awful, but maybe it saved to from an even worse knock to the head that would end your career (ankles heal, brains ….not as much). It will also allow you time with your wife as you begin your new family in August at home. We all love you Buster and will be there for you next season.

Go GIANTS!
Get well soon Buster! The Giants need you behind the plate!
Heal quickly Buster – our family misses you in the lineup. You have our prayers for a speedy recovery. Nine year old Ralston “Buster” Miller is wearing #28 for the summer – keeping it warm until you need it back!
Decades ago, when I was your age, there was a popular saying going around, called “The Desiderata.” One of the lines I keep with me all the time is “No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.” Even off the field all baseball fans will be looking to you for inspiration and leadership. It’s a heavy burden, but you will find the strength to carry it. Namaste, Buster.
Buster,
I have the newspaper picture of “The Rookie” from last year’s newspaper and had taped it on top of a picture in the family room and it’s been there ever since…I will not take it down!
Wish you a speedy recovery and see you next year!!!
dear buster, all giants fans hope you get better soon.Every fan will miss you hitting your AWESOME bye bye babies and your fantstic catching. At Giants games everyone will be sad when they dont see 28 on the feild.all fans hope the best for you.GET WELL SOON!(: – JOCELYNN GARCIA
I hope you feel better, Buster! Come back next year, better than ever. I’m already looking forward to spring training–this year won’t be the same without you but I will wear your jersey at every game to go to!
Friend Buster – you WILL return and we will be there to greet you joyfully – Larry and Susan Balthasar
Dear Buster,
You’ve been an exemplary player in your career and Giants fans do appreciate how much effort you’ve put into becoming a great young major league star. Please take care of yourself and find a balance between family, rehab, and adapting your winning approach to the game to this new challenge! We all support you and look forward to hearing about your progress.
BUSTER WE MISS YOU!!!! The game is just not the same without . Get well soon so our team and fans miss you!!!
life is short buster, make the best of this forced time off. you are a huge positive addition to the team and you are certainly missed. heal well.
Buster, sending you best wishes for a full and speedy recovery ~ All the best to you and your family, Paula
Buster!! I can’t watch the collision any more! They keep showing it over and over again. The second it happened I knew it was your ankle 😦 I had a similar accident a little over a year ago playing soccer where my left ankle did the exact same thing. I have 6 screws and a plate in my ankle and ligaments on the inside were all torn. Three months after my surgery I was able to go back out and play goalie again. I know you can get back out there too. You are an incredible athlete and I hate seeing this happen to you. Take care of yourself! List to your doctors, ice and elevate and don’t push it! You’ll get back out there soon and all us Giants fans will waiting for you 🙂
P.S. Congrats on the twins! I’m sure you’ll be a great dad :]
Get well soon, Buster!! We love you!! 🙂
Get Well Buster, the team needs you,the fans need you..Im from Hawaii, and I will be watching the team play in August..Good Luck..and Aloha….You are class act
Buster,
Doubtful you will read this due to the overwhelming support and all the get well wishes, but anyway…You are an idol to many baseball fans and players alike, whether Giants fans or not. You talent behind the plate and at bat is deeply going to be missed this season, but I think even more so than that will be the presence you bring to every game. We need you back buddy. This year is gonna be tough. Get better.
Buster, we miss you, man! GET WELL FAST!!! We know you’ll come back better than ever!! Why? ‘Cause WE’RE GIANT!!!!!
Hey. Buster!! Sure glad your surgery went well! Get well soon! Even tho I am a Dbax fan, you are good for baseball!!
Hey Buster!
Hope you get well soon! You’re my favorite player and I’m looking forward to (hopefully!) seeing you in spring training in 2012!
-Katie
Buster, you are an integral, irreplaceable part of this Giants team, and we will certainly feel the magnitude of losing behind the plate this season. We eagerly await your return next year, and you will constantly be in everyone’s thoughts and prayers throughout your recovery! You have proven yourself to be a commendable player and person – stay positive, and know that your fans are rooting for you. -Lindsay
I hope you have a recovery that is speedy but safe. Can’t wait for the standing ovation upon your return. Good luck!
Buster Posey, when I heard you were hurt I was so shocked, but I knew you would be determined to get better. I saw you in spring training in Arizona and you then inspired me to be a catcher (I play softball). Now I’m the starting catcher for my team and improve every day. I want to thank you so much for being such an inspiring and determined human being. My dad and I have always been HUGE Giants fans. I’m glad to hear you’re surgery went well – and that you’re doing better.
Ava L, Montana
Posey,
My fiance and I want to wish you a good recovery and hope everything turns out for the better. We are huge Giants fans and we love you! Hope to see you back behind the plate as soon as you get better!
Love,
Melissa and Kent
Glad to hear the surgery went well. We miss you, Buster, but will see you next year! All my best.
