Buster, yesterday was a heart-wrenching sight to see. But you are a GIANT so I know you will pull through. I am praying for your speedy recovery and I know once you come back, you will be even better than ever. I haven’t seen a such a tough, hardworking catcher with a heart of gold since Mike Matheny. You are definitely among the best players in MLB!
Don’t push yourself too hard. Get back to full strength and spend this time with your family. It’ll be a lot harder, but I think the team can manage. Hopefully the incident will push the players not performing to step up. Words can’t accurately describe what you mean to baseball, the Giants, the fans. You’re already the best catcher in baseball.
