Here’s to a quick recovery and rehab ~ who you gonna call the best? BUSTER!
Buster – Hang in there, we’re still leading and us fans will be here for you when you are ready to come back. We’ve got a great team and we’re very glad to have you as a part of it. Your strength and will through all this will mean so much on that first day back, and we’re all waiting for that day. Get better soon – but take your time and make sure you are 100%. We’ve got your back.
Go Giants!
Let me be the 5,829th fan to say.. GET WELL!!!
And I might add, you may be a Posey but you’re sure no delicate little flower! That guy knew (as, I’m sure, did you) that, if he had any hopes of crossing that plate, he was gonna have to slam into you like a bloody freight train… yet you stood your ground, like the Giant you are!
Health and happiness, dude!!
Buster, I hope you can feel just how much we all love you. Such a talent, and such a nice man. I won’t bore you with how big a fan I’ve been, but I’m 49 years old and I’ve never felt so rocked by a player’s injury before. I’ve seen horrible injuries, but I felt this viscerally, as though you were a member of my family. Get well soon, work hard…your family needs you healthy and strong and on a selfish note, we need you for the playoffs!
Hang in there, kid. You will be missed but you will also be back.
Buster,
I was in pain when I saw go down. Get well soon. Watching baseball is not the same without you on the line up. If you need someone to do your errands, I’m available. Get well soon and I know you will come back stronger.
Buster, it was devastating to see your injury happen in such an unnecessary manner. You are the reason I love the Giants and have learned so much about intelligence and class from your young self. Get well soon, be patient with the healing process and we await your return with every game that passes. Thank you for being you. CR
Good luck, big guy! Really sorry this had to happen , but know you will work hard and be back at it stronger than ever! Thank you for last year, as a lifelong Giants fan, it was a nice gift to finally win a championship! I had back sugery last May (double fusion) your exploits and the championship run helped me through the recovery! All the best
We wish you a speedy recovery, and send you and your family our aloha during this difficult time. You will be missed, not just for your play but also all the heart you bring to the game.
Mr. Posey you are my 4 year old daughters favorite Giant and one of the few players she can always name. She wants me to let you know she misses you and will pray for you to get better soon because we like to watch you play and say “go Buster!”
Buster,
The entire Bay Area and FSU communities are behind you. God speed on a speedy and full recovery. We look forward to seeing you in action again soon.
-Doug and Karen Kreuzkamp
Surround yourself with great support & energy! Your recovery will be fast! Know your fans are praying for u fast recovery as well!! On a side note, You are still H-O-T !!
BUSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, my heart broke when I saw you crawlin. I’ve been there myself back in Germany when I was serving with the 1-6 Infantry Battalion. I had a 250 lbs man fall on me. My ankle snapped. But hey brother, chin up. I know me and myself with be with you, metaphorically, as you begin your road to recover. Get well soon brother.
Get well soon! We miss your beautiful face in the line up!!!
Buster,
Get well soon. You are the cutest catcher around and the Giants need you back in healthy shape ASAP.
-Nikki
Get Well Soon, Buster!! You are in our thoughts and prayers!!
~Kendra Bell~
Dear Buster,
I hope you have a speedy recovery!! I think i speak for every giants fan when i say you are missed in the lineup. Get well soon.
Posey, my heart goes all out for you. Your injury is all I can think about, so much that I literally cried from frustration. Thank you so much for the being the bravest player out there. I wish you the speediest recovery possible as it is a pleasure to watch you play on the field. Stay strong, you’re occupying our minds and hearts and you’re in our prayers.
Seeing you take that hit, and seeing you in that much pain, really effected me. I can only imagine how your wife felt. I’m really gonna miss you this season, but I wish for you a speedy and full recovery. In the mean time, enjoy the time you have with your family and take this time to spend with your wife and be there for her pregnancy. I wore my Buster Posey jersey yesterday and my shirt today, hoping for your recovery. I realize you may not see all these comments, but know your fans are here for you. Hoping for the best!

Dear Buster
I am so sad about your injury. You exemplify everything that is great about baseball and The Giants. We will all be thinking about your during your long recovery. I can’t wait to see you back in the game. Don’t lose the hope, we all pulling for you.
Dear Buster,
My heart went out to you when I saw what happened. I hope you have a speedy recovery and are not out the whole season like they are predicting. Can’t wait to see you again in a Giants baseball uniform. I’ll miss watching you catching behind the plate.
Buster: I am so sad when I think about your injury. I love your style and the way you play the game. Can’t wait to see you back on the field.
Buster Posey,
Well to start off I have to say I’m one of your biggest fans ever! Because of you I learned to actually love baseball and the Giants! I watch almost every game at home and went to my first baseball game when the Giants played against the A’s. I love how you never give up and you always keep playing even if you hit by a ball or something. I hope you have a fast recovery and I hope your not going through much pain. I hope you get better soon and I love you!
Your biggest fan,
Maria
I’m an operating room registered nurse and would love to be the circulating nurse (even the scrub nurse) on your surgery (if that’s what they’ll have to do).
Anyway, hope you’ll heal fast and heal correctly. I know the Giants nation will miss you a lot —- but DON’T RUSH BACK. I would prefer if you come back 100% that have a set back.
Take Care.
Hi Buster: Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of healing. Get well quick. The fans, as well as the team, need you back!
Get well soon Buster. My family and I love watching you play, and you are the reason I started getting into baseball. My daughter Cyan, is a softball player and you are her number one player, and she is so sad that you might not be at the August 24th game we are going to. Well we wish you the best and your in our thouhts and prayers. Hope to see you back soon.

Speedy recovery! You’ll be back in the game in no time, and the game’s right there waiting for you. We’re getting ready to give you the biggest standing-O that San Fran has ever seen once you’re ready to get back on the field!
Hope you get you well Buster. You’ll be real proud of the new rook and i will be proud when i see you behind the plate just like you always are. 😀
God blessed you with talent and class. This is just a minor setback. Where that cast with pride, as you are a TRUE CHAMPION.

Buster-
Like so many fans we’ve experienced a shock and sadness because of your injury. But the Giants are World Champions and fiercely competitive and your inspiring message at the parade of ‘let’s get to work and do this again,’ will continue to motivate this team and the fans even in your absence. Although you, your bat and your catching will be missed… your spirit and inspiration is always present.
We will see you soon.
Sheila S.
Get well soon! You’re in all our thoughts & prayers. Even if you can’t play, you still inspire!
Hi buster i am a 14 year old kid from new jersey and you are my favorite player and i know that you will come back, stronger, and determined to bring another championship to san francisco. I hope you are reading this right now because i hope you know ur not just a normal person you are a superstar that can over come anything so keep your head up and work harder to become a better player.
I wish u fast healing!! We need you out there…the field don’t look right with out you on it.
Buster…hope you get well soon…hopfully that grand slam by Crawford made you feel better today..God has given you an amazing talent to play baseball…God bless you.. GO GIANTS!!!
Buster we will wait patiently for you to return, but we are praying for a speedy recovery!! Take care of yourself!!
Dear Buster,
May you take this time to slow down, heal up, and spend some time with the wife. We love you and all of San Francisco will be behind you when you come back all better.
Blessings,
Jessie
Get well soon Buster! Feel for you buddy and wish you Gods blessings and encouragement. From a Seminole brother, Mike Dasher
GO NOLES!
I’m sad I won’t get to see you play in Detroit, but at least I saw you play a couple games in San Francisco in April. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. I’m sure you will be back better than ever. Take care and God bless you.
buster, i hope you feel better i felt bad wen you got hurt
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. It will be a long process, but you can do it. I have to say I have watched the replay time and again, and although the play may have been legal, i think the runner came in like a linebacker in a football game. This is baseball and I think some kind of changes need to be addressed! As you said in your comments today, Thank Goodness it was just your leg and not your neck or spinal cord..Keep positive thoughts in your recovery process.
Buster I can barely watch the Giants knowing that you got hurt the other night. I cringe at the replay. Best wishes with a speedy recovery, we will miss you!
Unfortunate injury Buster. But look at it this way, you get to rest (because you need it). Please don’t force yourself to play too soon, rest, let the injury heal and in due time you’ll be behind the plate again. We know you want to get back in there, but us fans need you back 1000%.
Buster,
Simply saying “I hope you get better” doesn’t begin to cover how sincere that statement is. Hopefully the combined support and love from all of your fans will do wonders, because together we are GIANT!! (I still rocked my Buster shirt to the game yesterday!!) Can’t wait until you are back behind the plate!
