My husband and I were so sad to hear of the news of your left ankle. You have REALLY taken a beating this season, both behind the plate and at bat. We truly wish you the best and a speedy recovery.

    Buster,
Please take care & get well soon. We miss you, and can’t wait to see you again. When you met our boys in Fresno, you were gracious and friendly. They have watched you & the Giants soar, and through it all you are still a gentleman. Thank you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Buster,

My wife and mother in law know your grandmother very well as they are from Cordele Georgia…so when we heard about your injury we were so heart broken. Praying for a speedy and complete recovery so you can get back to the game you love. We can’t wait to meet you and see you play when you are here on the east coast.

Buster, as a fellow Seminole, I have been so proud of you in the majors. Like Warrick Dunn in football, you have been a stellar role model of pro athletics on and off the field. Mend well, young man, and don’t push it; you have a long career ahead of you. Rooting for you from Florida, Buster (for you, tho not the Giants; sorry, bud, but I’m a Red Sox fan). Take care.

Hey Buster!! I’ve been a SF Giants fan since the 70s despite living in “Dodger country”!! Watching you last season certainly renewed my Giants Pride and “fan-dom”!! Your injury is only a temporary setback. Your teammates are pulling together and “doing it for Buster”!! Take the necessary time to get healthy. Your fans will be here when you return!!
    WE LOVE YOU!!

So sorry you are injured, love to watch you play ball.

Coming to game on June 11, will miss seeing you behind that plate.
Take care of yourself and you will be back stronger than ever.
After surgery be sure and do your PT.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Speedy, safe recovery Buster, I’ve only been a baseball fan about as long as you’ve been in the majors and you’re my favorite player. You’ve got a great career ahead, enjoy your family and we all hope to see you at 100% in a Giants uniform soon!

Hey Buster, I remember when Andres returned from his appendectomy late last season and credited much of his recovery to him staying positive throughout that process. I know it’s gonna take more than just a positive attitude to recover, (I actually shredded my left ankle completely last October so I feel I can actually relate to your plight) but I have a feeling if you look back to last year and to the future, you’ll see this is just a small setback in a fun and accomplished career. Here’s to a full recovery! Let’s Go Giants!

    Sincerely,

I was a child when I watched Willie Mays play center field at Seals Stadium in 1958. I found a worthy role model. My grandson now has a worthy role model in you, Buster. Best wishes for a fast recovery with complete healing so you can return to play for the Giants for many years to come!

Get well, Buster. My first jersey was a Buster Posey jersey. If they had been out of Buster Posey jerseys, then I didn’t want one. It even had to have your last name on it, just in case some uninformed fan didn’t know who #28 was. I’m going to several more games this year and will wear it proudly every time. You’re the heart and soul of the team. I can’t wait to see #28 back on the field next year. Go Giants!!!

    Buster,
You may not know me, but you are part of my family. I eat and sleep Giants baseball. Watching todays gm were Prince Fielder had a simliar play at plate w/Eli Whiteside was disturbing.

MLB needs to change the rule. If theres ever a time to make a point its now. I pray you come but 100% from this injury. You should be blessed that you are part of the Giants and the success you had to date is already amazing.

Take it one day at a time and get well soon.

    Cheers,

    Ezra Azizo

Buster, you need to get well as quick as possible, watching the games won’t be the same for my girlfriend without you playing! You’re a true asset to the franchise and you are missed by everyone of those 1.7 million (and more!) screaming fans who saw you out at the victory parade. Maybe the boys can rally together another run at the trophy so we can have another parade!

It hasn’t been the same watching the Giants with out you but we want you healthy and hope you take advantage of your “time off” to also enjoy your babies! in a way this could be a silent blessing to you to be there when your wife has your son and daughter. you won’t have to worry that she will have them with out you or you being on the road and her going into labor. My 3 year old son loves you and all he says when the giants are playing is “Go Buster Posey Go Giants! ” we went to his first game when he was 2yrs old and you hit two doubles and a home run. we are so great full that he has a role model like you. Feel better soon and try not to be so down you will be back next year better than ever. We love you! The Gorman Family
