Hey Buster, i just wanted you to know that im dedecating my whole softball summer season to YOU! My whole entire team is hard-core giants fans, and we’re each a player on the team? Im you, im #28 and the starting catcher 🙂 and my best friend is Brian, she’s #38 and a pitcher. But i got customized elbow sweatbands that say “4 BUSTER” on them, and im really hoping i can go to spring training this year and im gonna wear them there. Also, on February 3rd, me and my friend MET YOU. You are such a nice guy and really tall compared to me (hey, im only 5’2 1/2 haha) also, i was wearing a Giants hat embroidered with “I ❤ Buster" on it and you said it was cool….i pretty much died, no joke. But anyway, i just wanna say GET WELL REEEAAALLLLLLYYYYY SOON PLEASEEE because we love you and a Buster only comes around once in a lifetime 🙂

The Giants are mostly rudderless without you, no sleight intended on Eli Whiteside. The energy is low, and I hope to see you in the dugout soon cheering the team on. We need a rule change, seeing catchers get blown up is NOT part of baseball – it’s past time for a change. You are the future, we can’t wait to see you return.
Buster, besides your clutch 2 strike hitting, your incredible consistency at the plate, the way you have handled a relatively young pitching staff, throwing out base stealers and blocking pitches in the dirt with your body, what I believe most fans will miss is your love of the game and what you represent for the game, truth, the spirit of fair competition and the integrity of the game itself.. The isn’t a person on this earth, fan or not, that doesn’t wish you the speediest recovery. Go Giants!
I love you buster! its not the same watching the giants games anymore, i mean i still watch them of course, but it makes me sick to my stomach! when you got hurt i cried myself to sleep! you were the main reason i started to pay so much attention! i have always watched the giants but i just recently started paying attention to stats and everything because of you! and i know all of yours! everyone at my school knows im obsessed with you, they all call me Mrs. Posey:) A lot of my friends are big fans of yours too, but I know pretty much everything there is to know about you! They ask me any question, and I can answer it. Except one time they asked me what your great grandmas name is, I didn’t know that one. your an amazing baseball player! But I’m sure you hear that all the time. I went to the second game against the A’s and that was my first game. It was the best day of my life! I asked one of the people who worked at AT&T park if there was a way I could meet you and he just laughed at me. I lost my voice cheering for you! I tried taking pictures of you but my hands were shaking like crazy! I went insane cuz you were the first run in, and then you hit in the second run with your double! I ended up taking like 200 though. I made a sign for the game that said “Posey’s Future Wife” and now it’s hanging up in my room! And for my birthday this year I get to redo my room in black and orange and I get to get a bunch of giants stuff. I know how you feel with the torn ligaments in your knee, same thing happened to me! And it still hurts when I play softball. Next year I get to be my high school teams catcher:) I really hope you read this, I’ve been trying for so long to send you mail, but I can never find an address. I’m not going to write everything I want to say to you because I don’t even know if your going to read this. But if you do, I really want to talk to you! And if I haven’t mentioned this before, I love you!
Just want you to know that on May 28th I bought a Posey T-shirt (couldn’t afford a jersey — sorry man!) to somehow through the eternal mysteries that I am thinking of you. Can’t tell you how many people I ran into that day in Giants gear and we all just kind of locked eyes and nothing needed to be said (although sometimes we did) — it was evident that all Giants fans are feeling your pain. We love you — get better and never ever think that we aren’t thinking of you on a daily basis. Also, I remember when Joe Montana had back surgery, there was speculation that it was career ending. It wasn’t, he came back better than ever and so will you.

Im also on the DL.Had hip replacement surgery 3 months ago,and going in for the other to be replaced as soon as the docs find out what went wrong during the 1st one.I will miss not seeing you out on the diamond while im re-habbing,but your teammates will pick up the slack,i have confidence in that.Take care and the one great thing that will come out of this is you will be able to see your twins borne and spend time with them.Good luck to you and your wife on the new Posey”s……..Mike
