Buster, We really miss you and love you. You are not just a great ballplayer but a good person as well!! I know that you have a relationship with Jesus, just like Freddy. It truly shows!! Congrats on your twins. I’m very happy for you and you’re wife. One thing you got going for you Buster, is that you’re young, so you should heal just fine. Good to see the GIANTS doing so well, but it’s just not the same without you there, but Brandon Crawford, recently brought up, brings a similar attitude to the club. He’s very good and classy like you. A very pleasant surprise!! I hope you’ll hang with the Giants in the dugout when you get better. Just having you there will be a huge uplift for the all the guys and the fans!! I’ve been a fan since the Giants moved here from NY, so last year was so special. I did not know it would feel that great!! I still get tears in my eyes when I see replays of the Worlds Series Championship. It was a wonderful experience for all the fans!!
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND THE GIANTS!!!
Be a man. You know the play was clean.
It happens in any sport. Now you screwed up the marlins player carrier. This is because your boss said you are upset with the way the player came in to you.
You did not cover the plate like a man. You did it like a kid.
Dr. Heck, Keep your negative thoughts to yourself. Everyone has calmed down except you.
Go Buster! You are the BEST!
Hey Buster! It’s me, your Number 1 Fan.
Miss seeing you at games and can’t wait to see you catching again next season.
Get well soon.
Taylor – Section 317 Row D
Your attitude and performance from your first day in the bigs in 2010 helped change the culture of the Giants, something that can still be seen even now that you’re on the shelf. You’re my favorite player since Bill Mueller, not to mention your impact in bringing the first World Series Championship to San Francisco and us long-time Giants fans.
Keep your head up and get well. We’ll all be here when you walk back onto the field.
Numberr 7:)
So I was watching the game last name and it seems to me like everyone acts a lot different when your not there. Like the attitude of everyone just changed. And not in a good way! I still sometimes get excited when we go to defense and I see someone behind the plate, but then I remember that it’s not you. I was so relieved when I read an article that said that you said you were in a good place, and that you weren’t in much pain. You also said that the hardest part is going to be when you feel just fine but you can’t go play. I can’t even imagine what that’s gonna be like! I’m so excited to see you play again! I miss you so much.
Hope your feeling even better:)
Love always,
Jenna:)
Buster!! We miss you! Hope you recover as soon as possible, so you can get back on track 🙂
Good luck to your wife having twins too!
We love you!! ❤

Buster,
Here’s you healing completely and as rapidly as is possible. I was soo depressed for a week after you got hurt. Myself and my family got to watch one of your last games of 2011, the 5/22/11 extra inning game vs. the Athletics. The ONLY sports jersey I have ever purchased in my 4+ decades of life is yours. I have always been a Giants fan. I am looking forward to your return to the Giants and to you catching the great pitching staff again. GET WELL SOON.
PS. Congratulations on the Twins.

I’m sure you know this but the game lasted 4hours and 30 minutes last night! I didn’t think I was going to be able to stay up haha but I did of course. 🙂 8th walk off win, that’s crazy! Defff the comeback kings. 🙂 I’m babysitting so I can’t make this as long as usual! Everyday I type your name in google to see if a new article comes up and if it does I print it out and hang it on my wall:) I can’t wait to see you play again. I have a game saved on my tv that I watch when I really miss you. 🙂
Can’t wait to see you back, and hopefully things are getting better:)
Love always, Jenna 🙂
Perhaps Thomas Carlyle said it best, “Adversity is the diamond dust Heaven polishes its jewels with.” Best wishes for a complete and quick recovery. I am sure you will come back polished to a fine luster.
Buster,
I’ve enjoyed watching you since you started playing for the Giants. You brought back the passion to the game that Will Clark brought when he played. Clark is my all time favorite player, after the last couple years you run a very close second. Get well soon, Looking forward to seeing you out there next year. Stay positive and focus on the good.
Hey Buster!!!
I hope you’re feeling better everyday!!! I love reading about you!!! My grandma saves me all the Buster Posey articles ^-^
Are you proud of Timmy for his 1000th strikeout?

They can break ya but they can’t bust ya. Miss seeing you out there on the field. Get better and hurry back! PS you still will get All Star this year!
Hey Posey!
I just wanted to send you best wishes on your recovery. I’m going to tomorrow nights game with 90+ other 5th graders from my school, I’m just bummed to not see the best catcher in MLB play in person! Im a catcher for my girls softball team, and my mom used to have me watch how you drop down and block a low ball with your leg plates. Get Well Soon!
YOU ARE COOL! I THOUGHT YOU WERENT GONNA BE IN TROUBLE TODAY! I HOPE YOU WILL FEEL BETTER!!
LOVE SIERRA (AGE 6)
Buster,
Thnaks for being the kind of person thst we can all look up to on and off the field. Get well soon and look forward to see you in the line up again.
P.S. Thanks for being so gracious for signing my ball at spring training this year.
Hurry back Buster we miss you. It’s just not the same without you. Go Giants
Oh, and I almost forgot – that’s so great that your pain is starting to subside. Soon it’ll be gone and you’ll be on the fast track to TOTAL RECOVERY ! ! ! ! I can’t tell you how much you’re missed!
Kay I think this is number 5:)
I was watching the game last night, and the commercial that your in came on like 2 or 3 times. Best commercial ever. 🙂 your so cute! I love the face you make when you tap the boss guy on the shoulder haha. Everyone keeps tellin me that you won’t come back as good as before cuz of your injury, but I know you can do it. ❤ I miss watching you play. I know you have to miss playing too. You always looked like you were enjoying it. You never really looked mad, probably cuz you had no reason to cuz your amazing. 🙂 getting your name on all my softball stuff and buying a bunch of shirts and jerseys with your name on it doesnt mean that Im your biggest fan right? Cuz my family doesn't have enough money to do all that but I do know everything about you, well not everything, but everything that has been released haha. I think that that's what makes me a fan. And being loyal to you, and writing you everyday, and thinking about you, and worrying about you, and hoping you get better, and having faith in you. That's what makes me your #1 fan:)
Hope things are getting better:)
Love always.
Jenna:)
Hey Buster, I was so happy to read that you went to the clubhouse yesterday morning and got some hugs and talked with the guys, man that must’ve felt good. I hope you find a new place to live soon and it’s not a big hassle. I can’t wait for the day you step out and show yourself to us…I hope it’s this Wednesday, lol – I’ll be there!
Love ya, kiddo.
Hang in there Buster. Our entire family is rooting for you. My younger son, Julian, suffered a break in both his tibia and fibula in a high school basketball game, so we know what kind of pain and rehab you will be going through, and we also know you will get past it. The best medicine is a positive attitude, and last year you proved to all of us that you have that in spades. It may seem like a long time now, but we will see you behind the dish before you know it. Best wishes, Mike Day, Connie Malach, Jeremy Day and Julian Day El Granada, CA
Buster! Sending you big love and healing thoughts! I wasn’t a major league player but I had quite a few sports injuries that stopped my ski season in the days when I’d knock out 100+ days on the snow, so I can relate to the frustration of being on the sidelines. Be strong and positive, and most of all, get healthy so we can cheer you on again, on the field, soon! You WILL, you know, so don’t let this little blip in the radar get you down.
And it looks like you are going to WIN the NL Catcher position for the ALL-Star game! Yeah!!!
BUSTERRR ❤
so today we're going to north beach with the ymca. and its freezzzinnggggggg! no big deal though.
hopefully your doing a little better then before, but keep your head up 🙂
Raquel ❤ & the YMCA.
Hey Buddy
Somehow God has a message for you in all of this. Pay attention and you will be a better person through this and on the other side of this. I know that you are a strong Christian. We all miss your passion.
Gos Bless, Fred
Get Well, Buster! We miss you and wish you the best! Can’t wait to see you in 2012!
We’re rooting for you Buster. Think Heal! Your body will respond. Looking forward to seeing you behind the plate in the next season. Go Giants!
Hi Buster – you have been such an inspiration to our family! We hope our well wishes – and the outpouring from your fans everywhere – will inspire you to a healthy and speedy recovery. You are a special ball player – and person – and we wish you and your family all the best.
The Thomson/Standley Family a.k.a the “Maxcrew”
Get well Buster! Take advantage of this time with your family and friends. Get that quality time you deserve!
The best is yet to come, Buster Posey!
Hi Buster!!
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve written to you but the numbers don’t count what matters is that all your fans & your team are supporting you! 🙂
I’m supposed to go to some Giants games during the summer & I was looking forward to watching you play but me & my sister are bringing get well Buster Posey posters to hold up during the game.
Love ❤
Raquel Govea, the Govea family & the Re family.
Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery, and for a great career!!
I have been following your career with much interest – I grew up in Lee County and was a 4-year starter at third base (was not very good, but got to play due to the pool of baseball players being small at the time) for Lee County High School 1957-60 – I had the privilege of playing with both of the Ranew brothers.
Sincerely, Max
I Told you I would write to you everyday 🙂 I think this is my 4th? Anyways, the team is still doing good, which I’m sure you already know. I’m surprised because you ARE the heart of the team, you hold it together. Catchers aren’t just people who sit behind the plate, their the field leaders, pitcher-whisperers, and so much more. The world needs more people like you. More sweet, energetic, GORGEOUS people. 🙂
Hope your feeling better.
Love always, Jenna Cole 🙂
Dear Buster,
All of us wish you well on the road to a quick, and healthy recovery. You re in our thoughts and prayers as you recover from your injury. We hope you are back for the 2012 season!Go Giants!
-Monge Family
Get well because you are the main key for winning another world series. Thank you for the 2010 season. Go Buster…
Buster we miss you behind the plate and wish you the all best in your recovery.
We know you will come back and be a great catcher again.
Day by day Buster. Day by day. Don’t get to frustrated. Give it time.
God Bless & stay strong.
Daryl & Holly
Buster, I miss you terribly! You are in my thoughts and prayers….here’s to a healthy, speedy recovery! I must tell you the cutest story. I am a second grade teacher in Moraga, and everyone knows I am (one of) the hugest Giants fans at school. The day after your injury, a sweet first grade little girl came up to me and said, “Ms. Guidi, did you hear? Duster Cozy is hurt.” Duster Cozy…I absolutely loved it. I had to share it with you.
Love,
Angie Guidi
Get well Buster. You are in our thoughts and prayers and please take it slow and do everything the doctors say so you can come back in good fashion. You are a great player and I’m sure you have many, many more years to play. Everyone loves you and we miss you in the game. Take care of yourself.
I am going to a Giants game in July, but I am not as excited to go since you will not be playing. You are my favorite player! I hope you feel better soon and I look forward to seeing you play in 2012! Better then ever!! I am 8 years old and I hope to play as good as you….someday!!
