A beautiful Thursday at AT&T Park was just not the same without Posey behind home plate. Even with the sun, there was a dark cloud over the day.
I have been a Giants fan all my life and some of my earliest memories are of being a toddler at Candlestick. But it was not until Buster and 2010 that the Giants became my passion. Your athleticism, poise, humbleness, talent, faith in your teammates and love of the game make each and every single game a joy to watch. It amazes me that someone my own age can make such a sudden difference in the world of baseball. You have quickly become someone that we all know, love and respect.
Anyone who knows the Giants knows that you will do your best to recover as soon as you can. Just know that the city of San Francisco and Giants fans all over the world are behind you 150%. Good luck Buster, and get well soon. We love you.

I broke my left ankle sliding into home plate while playing softball last year. I needed two surgeries to make it all better. I watched the Giants games while recovering and got to go to the World Series parade. You are there for your fans and now we’re here for you. I hope you get better soon!! ❤
