Hi Buster – Devestated by your injury but know that you’re a fighter and will be back playing for the Giants soon enough. I’m gutted that I won’t get to see you play when I visit SF in August, but this just means I’ll have to come and watch you play next year instead!
I hope these messages can help, that you get well very soon and that you have a long, healthy career as a Giant! From all Giants fans in London, UK.
Say hey Buster Posey -good morning please !

Get well soon Buster. I’m hoping that you have a speedy recovery. This is a big loss for the Giants and baseball. You are such an amazing player! Take care.
Buster…It’s incredibly sad to think of the Giants without you. You are part of the glue that makes this team so incredibly special. Please take care of yourself. We want to see you back on the field but your health comes first. Don’t rush it and come back strong!
Renee
How odd it must be to have your injuries documented on all the major media as they happen! Anyhow, a displaced Giants fan in Missouri wishes you all the best with a speedy healing and a very routine and trouble free rehab.
Our hearts sank when you didn’t immediately get up. It’s been such a pleasure watching you make those big plays…can’t wait til you’re back making more plays. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery!
BUSTER! When life throws you curve balls you gotta adjust right? Feel better buddy. Stay positive and when I move back to the SF Bay I can’t wait to see you back where you belong. We’re all supporting you from across the street to across the country.

Buster, Praying that you have a quick and complete recovery. Appreciate the 100% effort you give every game, every play.
Looking forward to your return. Take care.
Buster,
Thanks for helping bring a World Series title to the Giants. I wish you a speedy recovery, and can relate well to the pain you must be feeling. Take care, and come back quick!
Can feel the pain 6,000 miles away here in New Zealand.Buster has brought great joy to many more around the world over the last year than he probably realises.
We are all looking forward to seeing him again when he is ready.
Trivial note- I’ve been a Giants fan since they came to my home town at Seals Stadium; before that I rooted for the Dodgers. Their catcher was Roy Campanella who broke his neck before he played in L.A. He said something fairly profound, calling the catcher’s gear the ‘tools of ignorance’. Ironic, since the catcher is(usually) the smartest man on the team. The best comment you received was the one by the old Cincinnati warhorse, Johnny Bench. When you feel better check that one out, it is an honor AND a caution. Consider switching to 1st Base? Even after you’re 100%! Wishing you a long career and more banners for S.F. Or wherever, okay?
Buster, I am truly sorry this happened to you. I wish you a very speedy and smooth recovery from your injuries. Enjoy the time with your wife. I wish her the best. You will be a proud father soon. That will be a wonderful event for the Posey family. God bless you and your family.
Buster. I know how hard this must be for you knowing what a dedicated player you are but you need this time to heal. Please take the time you need to get better and don’t rush yourself. Yes the Giants need you but your two future little ones need you too. We will miss you terribly but know all your fans are rooting for a fast recovery. Thanks for all your hard work now take the time for you and your family. You have a wonderful future ahead of you. Debra
Many wishes for a full recovery…can’t wait to see you playing again, but want you fully healed too. Take care!!
I’m Matteo an italian giant’s fan. Good Luck to you, you’ll be back soon, stronger than now.
Buster,
I just wanted to say that your presence and contribution to this team is more valuable than any championship. Thank you for inspiring an entire fanbase, and contributing to baseball as a whole. Can’t wait for you to get back on the field.
Take it slow and steady, Buster! You know the Giants will wait as long as it takes for you to get better!! I hope you get some home cooked meals and have a speedy recovery! We love you!
We all hurt with you kiddo.
I’m thinking positive thoughts for you so you’ll get better soon, Buster! We need you back!
Wishing u a speedy recovery ……. Take care braddah – Aloha \nnn/
Get Well Soon Buster from all of the Giants fans in the United Kindom – I’ve recovered from a broken left fibula myself in the last year. (It took me 3 months but I’m sure with your will and determination you will return to the plate soon.)
Hope you get well soon Buster! I miss you in the Giants Lineup already. You are the best catcher in baseball.
Wish you good luck for the rehab and take care of yourself and your family.
Setbacks make a Champion only stronger!!! Together we’re GIANT!!!
Hope you get well Buster! I’m 19 years old and working every day to someday make it to the big leagues. It’s crazy to think that with one hit you are going to be out for a while. You’ll bounce back, and you’ll still have all of your talent. Don’t get down on yourself because you can’t play, I know that feeling. Just take it easy for a while and when you come back you’ll be as good as ever. Long story short, get well soon.
-Gabe
We Hope that you get well soon, and that you come back good as ever! Your tough I’m sure you”ll bounce back just fine.
Buster – Watching you for the past two seasons has truly been an honor. Your maturity, leadership and professionalism, both on and off the field, give youth a true role model. Take care of yourself and your family. Make sure you are 100% before you come back, because in the end baseball is still JUST a game. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Hope you are feeling ok. I watched the games to see you, now i will watch the games knowing you’re watching too. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into the games, your effort has always been appreciated. Get better soon, I promise not to forget you! You are my favorite player! xoxo
Yo Buster,
I ve broken my ankle and also had my muscles torn in a game.
People who have had this before know how you feel!
But time flies and the pain heals. Before you know it your back on the field hearing people calling your name!
Get well soon Buster!
Get well Buster….We’re all rooting for you! ❤
Buster
I am so sorry you got hurt. Please hang in and keep your head up. Fight Buster. We’ll see you at the ballpark when you return. You’re our MVP and we want you back. This place is just not the same without you. Not just because you’re so talented but because you’re such a wholesome human being and one of the best baseball has ever had. You’ve got a demeanor and a presence that I haven’t seen in baseball for decades. God Bless you and your family Buster. We love and miss you.

the collective hearts of giants fans broke into more pieces than your leg ever could….get well soon buster. we might not have you on the field this season but your presence in the clubhouse and on the team will still be felt.
My husband and I were at the game and my heart sunk when we realized that you were not getting up after what happened. We were texting my son who was at home watching it on television and got the details as the announcers gave the only info they had at the time. We are praying for you and wish you a healthy recovery. We all want you back, but we want you back only when you and your doctors say it’s time.
For now, it’s time to spend with your wife! I hope you can feel the love and support from al of us fans!
Thank you for your talent on the field!
Wishing you well!
Get well soon Buster!!!
Dear Buster – Once in a blue moon, someone special comes along who reminds the rest of us how amazing we can all be. Watching you over the past year on the field, I have not only ben inspired by your feats, but also heartened by the deep sense of goodness that you represent. You are a hero to many, including me. As tough as it is for the rest of us right now, it has to be that much more intense and real for you. Hang in there. We know how strong you can be. And know that you are not alone. An entire city and more, all of Giants fandom and friends, is rooting for you. We know you will perservere and come back even stronger. Best wishes!!! JV
Heal well and quickly! EverywhereI went today I saw people wearing “Posey” baseball jerseys in support of you!
Sending positive thoughts your way. We’ll miss watching you but take comfort that you’ll be back in a couple of weeks. Take care of yourself.
