My friends and I were at the game the other night and saw the play- it was amazing to see the love in the stands for you that night and not only there at yhe stadium but everywhere in the Giants community. It will be a process and a journey to get back to playing baseball but you will do great. The Giants love and support you Posey! Keep your head high!

You will study the entire league and keep the discussion with your other catchers and pitchers alive while down! You will be working out the muscles you can safely work on, and stay strong and healthy, to enable your quick return! You will be researching baseball history for precedent to give you voice to demanding rule changes to protect the health of all ballplayers (catcher and baserunner alike)! You will be studying on how to further craft your skills as a catcher (better gloves to enable better sweep tags, what?)… I have every confidence in you that you will return a better and more confident player and teammate! You’re the best! You have our love and support!

We moved from Orlando to Fresno about 2 years ago and he was thrilled to know you were with the Grizzlies at the time and now of course is a Giants fan. We had the privilege of meeting you at the FSU Alumni event last July after on of your games. Thank you for being a positive role model for my son and we pray for a fast and speedy recovery for you.
