Get better Buster. I broke my leg badly a couple years ago and needed surgery to repair it. It was a difficult time but it does get better. Keep up a good attitude and the time will go by quickly.

I’m sure you will go about rehab the way you play ball, with a lot of hard work and dedication. Hang in there!!! We can’t wait to see you when you get back. I doubt you will get a chance to read all of these, but the sheer number will hopefully give you a lift. I hope that you recover quickly, but please don’t rush back until you are fully better. There are some things that are bigger than Baseball, and your health is one.

Get better Buster. I broke my leg badly in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago and had to stay off it for six months. It was a very difficult time but it did get better . Try to stay positive and the time will pass quickly.

If you turn on KNBR at any point during the day, you’ll hear people talking about you. While some of it is vindictive toward Cousins(which it shouldn’t be), it still shows that there are hundreds of thousands of people out there that will continue to have something missing in their lives until your name pops up in the lineup again.
Buster, you’re in our thoughts and prayers. My 90-year-old dad is one of your biggest fans; you autographed an 88th birthday T-shirt for him when you played at FSU!! God bless your speedy recovery!!
Buster – catching can be the pits but being an ex catcher for many years , with many injuries, I can say without reservation there is no other position I would have rather played. I am 72 years old and have seen many major league catchers come and go. Buster, you are destined to be one of the all time best that the game has seen. Get better soon and come back to continue your journey to the Hall of Fame. My prayers are with you.

I dedicated my Havana, Fl. Ozone Dixie Youth baseball game to you last night. I went 2-2 with a double and a triple. I sure hope you get back to playing real soon.
