As an athlete who has been injured before, I feel a small percentage of the pain you must feel right now, and I’m sorry.
As a San Franciscan who witnessed your major league performance, I feel the energy you bring to the field, and I’m thankful.
Your healing process has begun and it’s going to be a long road but you have done amazing things and there’s a ton to look forward to once your body does its thang. HANG IN THERE! YOU ARE THE MAN!
Buster you have added so much to the Giant’s in less then a year. And are such an inspiration to everyone watching your success and determination. You are the sports star that we as parents strive to have our children look up too!

Get Well Soon, Buster! My new husband introduced me to baseball and now I am a new fan of the Giants, too. My husband has been a Giants fan since he was 5 years old. We both were thrilled the team won the World Series last year – I was undergoing chemotherapy for my 4th recurrence of breast cancer (I’m now battling my 5th recurrence) and we took the Giants Win as being THE SIGN that I would survive cancer.
Thanks for all your team has done and I wish you the absolute best and the quickest and easiest possible recovery!

The toughest thing probably won’t be the physical recovery, but the mental battle to trust your body and skills again. Take the time you need, give yourself every opportunity to get well. We want you back, but not too soon. We just want you to focus on getting well and staying positive. We’ll be here every step of the way. Keep that arm strong, we still want that cannon to be firing when you get back behind the plate!
You are a true champion, you embody what the Giants are all about. Dont let fear or discouragement sneak in and take hold. You WILL be back and you WILL continue to succeed.

All that you are and all the you have become is from hard work and belief that you can do it. This is no different and you will be back stronger and better than ever. We in the Bay Area have adopted you as our own and will continue to stand beside you through this and until you are back behind the dish.
Recently I was a victim of a violent assault in my home. Two weeks ago as therapy I went to my local animal shelter and adopted a dog. I named him Buster Posey. Thank you Buster for being such a wonderful man and player!!

Buster – A little piece of me died watching you get hurt. I hope you have a quick recovery, and get back to the team and your fans as quickly as you can. You are truly one of the best assets a team could ask for, both on and off the field. Take care!
Buster, wishing you & your family all the best. Don’t worry, been thru exactly the same injury you had ( I had to go down the wedding aisle for my marriage on crutches & in a cast!) You will make a 100% recovery… just be sure to listen to your PT for you rehab.. that will be the most important thing for the ligaments. So, rest up & get well soon!

You will recover and you’re passion for the game will grow infinitely (if that’s even imaginable!) because of this forced absence.
