Hey Buster I’m sending some get well wishes to you from southern cali…hope you heal as good as new and have a fast recovery. Enjoy your time off, but not too much! 🙂 Look forward to many years of you in a SF Giants uniform…your the man!
Get well soon Buster!!! The entire Giants family is behind you with support! Wishing you a speedy recovery so you can come back and do what you love in front of the fans who love you!
Buster! I was there that first day you went 3 for 4 against the D-Backs. Greatest ball game I’ve ever gone to.
In return, I’ve got a joke for you, to help you recover.
Here goes:
So a guy is in the waiting room of the maternity ward, and the doctor comes out and says
“Sir, I’m really sorry. We just delivered your son, and he has no arms and no legs, and no body. All he has is a head…”
And the father was sad, but he raised his son and loved him just the same.
21 years went by, and he decided to take his son to a bar for his first drink. So he brought his son in and propped him up on his neck on the counter and said
“Hey, bring my son a drink!”
So they brought him out one of those big tropical long island iced teas and put it up to the kid’s face with a straw.
The second he drank it, a body popped out of him, and everyone was amazed and started cheering and said
“Hey, get him another drink!”
So they brought out another one and put it up to his face. The second he finished it, two arms and two legs popped out of him, and everyone went nuts cheering again.
By now he was getting kinda wobbly because it was a lot to drink, but he wanted to try out his new legs, so he got up and staggered around, and hobbled out the door, and was promptly run over by a truck.
The father screamed and cried and buried his face in his hands, and the bartender just said
“Man… he shoulda quit while he was a head…”
Im sorry to see that you’re going to be out for a while!
I hope that you heal fast and feel better soon. 🙂
I have you in my prayers.
Cindy.

Buster, my prayers for a complete recovery are with you. See you next March in Scottsdale!! I’ll be the one yelling: “Hey Hey we want some Posey!!!!”
Get Better, Buster!
You will be missed!
Hope the break was relatively clean. I cracked my growth plate in my ankle as well as other bones around it and the lower parts of the shin bone when I was a bit younger. It sucked, but I knew I’d have a part of my body that will actually heal stronger than it was ever originally. A small blessing when it comes to broken bones, they heal stronger than the original. It was hard to trust my ankle afterwords, but I had to. I broke it playing organized football and then a year later I was back on the field. But the scar tissue that builds up while in the cast is no fun when it breaks loose during physical therapy. I thought that was the worst of the whole thing. But I got a cool scar and a story out of it plus I can do everything I used to be able to before the injury. Keep your head up! Looking forward to your return next spring. GO GIANTS!!!
WISHING YOU A SPEEDY RECOVERY!! WE LOVE YOU!! GIANTS FANS FOR LIFE!!
I only have two Giants shirts that have players names on them. One says MAYS, the other one says POSEY. I have faith that you will come back strong! Listen to the doctors and savor the extra time with your new family 🙂

hey buster,
i know that you’re probably still processing your injury (as is the entire giants family) and that you’re frustrated (to put it mildly) about not being able to play the sport you love with the most amazing team (and organization) in baseball. but while there’s a long road of rehabilitation ahead, i hope it is evident to you just the sheer outpouring of support you have not only from giants fans, but from baseball fans everywhere. you are truly a special part of baseball and we are all rooting for your quick and proper recovery. take your time, do it right, and we look forward to having #28 back in the lineup. baseball without buster posey is just not as good as baseball with buster posey.
go giants!
