That guy was just trying to show his boss that he could play hard, cuz’ if he wasn’t fighting for a roster spot, and it wasn’t the 11th inning in (another) tight ballgame, he probably would have slid around you. I’m praying to God that you come back even stronger and more commtted (if that’s possible. When you do come back, your fans will be happier than winning the World Serire! God speed, Buster!

I was driving to work at SF’s CPMC hospital as the game was in the 11th inning, and then saw that almost every single patient had the game on. I took a quick second to peek on the game and sadly saw the collision. I had trouble concentrating the rest of the night and you’ve been on my mind ever since. my mom in Washington loves you and was so sad as well! we all are saying prayers and know that you are loved by fans far and wide.
